Charlotte’s Best Holiday Pop-Ups, Markets & Festivals

Author:  Jamie Milam

Date: November 10, 2025

The Queen City sure knows how to shine during the holidays! Between drive-through light shows to pop-up skating rinks, pop-up bars to parades — there are a ton of fun things to around Charlotte this holiday season.
I love this city around Christmas and one of my favorite things to do is check out all the awesome holiday lights in different neighborhoods. I've compiled the best light experiences, yes, but also fun shopping experiences and festivals you don't want to miss. Here's to the holidays!

Jamie's Tips: Make the Most of Your Holiday Weekend Lineup

With so much going on in and around Charlotte during the holidays, you've got to make a plan! Here are my tips to make the most of this exciting season:

  • Start early. Popular events sell out or draw big crowds—book your tickets now.
  • Mix it up. Do one light event, one market, and one festive night out each weekend to keep the holiday spirit flowing.
  • Capture moments, not just photos. Take a beat to soak in the music, the smells, and the laughter.
  • Support local. Every cocoa, craft, and ornament you buy from a small business truly matters.
Charlotte shines brightest during the holidays—both in its lights and in its sense of community. Whether you’re finding the perfect gift, a festive night out, or the next neighborhood you’d love to call home, I’m always here to guide you.
If 2026 has you dreaming of new spaces and new beginnings, let’s chat. I’d love to help you find a home that feels just as magical as a night under Charlotte’s holiday lights.

To celebrating the season,
